My true life story
For almost 15 years, I have worked the same corporate 9-5 job. The company is great, but by 2025 I could feel myself burning out. Working, coming home & momming, everyone needing something from me. I was not able to be the mom I wanted to be, because of burn out.
When I turned 38 on February 28, 2025, I decided this was the year I was going to choose something for myself and get my pink back. I wanted more freedom, more creativity, and more options for my family.
Side hustles had always interested me, and I had tried a little bit of everything over the years, from handmade onesies in my garage to direct sales, pyramid schemes, and random business ideas.
Some made a little money. Most did not. But I always knew I wanted more than just my 9-5.
When I found digital marketing, it felt like a whole new world opened up.
At first, I was trying everything: posting randomly on TikTok, trying to get approved for Amazon Influencer, trying to get enough followers for TikTok Shop, and saving random tutorials hoping I would somehow figure it all out.
But after a few weeks, I was burned out again because I did not have a real plan. I finally decided to invest in myself and joined SWC 2.0, and that changed everything.
I had step-by-step training, a roadmap, and support. I listened to modules while driving to work, picking up my kids, and during every spare minute I had.
That was when I stopped treating this like a hobby and started treating it like a real opportunity.
