Hi Friends!

My name is Jennifer Hofferber.  My friends call me Jenn, my parents call me Jennifer, my co-workers call me Hoff and my husband calls me J.  No identity crisis here though...I'll answer to anything.

I have been a special education teacher in Kansas since 1995 (yes, you read that right!).  I'm either highly dedicated to the field or certifiably insane (we'll go with the first). I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in special education from Oklahoma State University in 1994 and with my Master's degree in elementary education in 1997. In 2007, I was named the Kansas Special Educator of the Year and in 2015 I received the great honor of being named to the Kansas Teacher of the Year Team and got to travel the state visiting schools, talking to legislators and collaborating with some amazing educators and administrators.

Outside of school I am mom to the two most amazing daughters ever...Kamryn who is in college and Kallie who is in high school.  I am married to Kevin...a great guy who loves me like crazy (and often drives me there as well!) We love all things Oklahoma State and travel 9 hours round trip to watch ALL the home football games!  We also enjoy spending time with friends and family and binge watching Netflix.

During the school year, I get to teach alongside my best friend (and soon to be nursing home roomie) and I honestly can't imagine myself anywhere else. We've taught out of the same classroom since our first year of teaching and she is truly the other half of my brain.

Teaching in a special education classroom can be crazy and intense.  No day is ever like the last and if you don't laugh you'll cry.... So we laugh.  A LOT! Our classroom is run on Love, Laughter and Lots of Dr. Pepper.

I absolutely love creating products for both regular and special education teachers and hope that I can somehow make their lives easier in doing so.  I hope you find something on this website that helps you get through your day...a smile, a product or a suggestion from a crazy teacher surviving on a Dr. Pepper a day.

(Or Jenn, because we're friends now, right??)
